Lots of restaurants have occupied this space on Witherspoon St. across from Urkin’s Hardware (which, by the way, is about to go out of business, sadly). But none of the incarnations have been nearly as good as this one. Creative French cooking, well presented – as good a meal as we’ve had anywhere. Make reservations, though – it’s small and usually full.
-- Frank Strasburger (December 2001)
