Ten years ago, Peter Sandman left his academic job at Rutgers, gave up his tenure there, remarried, went out on his own as a consultant, and moved to the Boston area. Peter is still a full-time consultant and is still married, but he and wife Jody have now moved back to New Jersey. Peter says And this time, New Jersey means . . . Princeton! Much has changed, but the campus and the feel of Nassau St. hasnt. Its fun to be nearing retirement where I started. Any old friends nearby, please call.
Chuck Braxton writes that he is starting a new company to deliver noncommodity risk management services to providers of distributed power applications and has offices in Baltimore and New England so far. His wife, Maggie, is a New Hampshire real estate agent, and his daughter, Bree (17), has two more years at Oak Ridge Military Academy in North Carolina.
John Delaney will retire as state district judge at the end of this year with 20 years of service. He plans to do mediation, arbitration, substitute judging, travel, and golf not necessarily in that order. You can contact John at jdelia67@cs.com.
Bob Ehret has retired from Coors Brewing Co. as senior v.p. human resources. Now, he is traveling with his wife, Kitty, and riding Harleys and dirt bikes with his grandchildren.
Kendall Wilson has been appointed by Pres. Clinton and confirmed by the Senate to a new management advisory council to the Federal Aviation Administration. The purpose of the council is to advise and review FAA regulatory and air traffic control activities. These are new, uncharted waters for me and the agency, but certainly Princeton in the nations service.
