I am always encouraged when classmates comment on the column. Sam Isaly wrote that a few weeks ago I contended that Anna Alaina Pell (3) was the youngest direct offspring at our 30th reunion. Sam noted that his son, David Andreas Devlin Isaly, pictured with his father, was not quite two at the time. Actually, Anna was only five months at the P-rade, but was pictured at three-years-old. However, close does count in these matters.
Kent Hughes and wife Elaine continue living in Rosemont, Pa., raising their sons Charles (8) and William (6), both of whom attend the Episcopal Academy.
Richard Davidson writes that wife Judy and he continue to reside in Orlando, where he is a partner at Lowndes, Dreschek, Doster, Kantor & Reed, PA (law firm). Oldest son Chris 94 has moved to Las Vegas, where he is in marketing for Harrahs. Son Scott is in consulting in Tampa, and daughter Julie just started teaching fourth grade in Virginia. Richard and Judy have just returned from a tour of Scandinavia.
Nick Criss started a new position last year as director of industrial services for Mexico with Cushman & Wakefield, with his office in San Diego.
John Pitts writes that he has gone from dilettante to professor, What a surprise! He has given up the leisurely life of adventure travel and photography to teach travel photography at the Institute of Art in Taos, N.Mex., beginning in April. John says, Its a great place come on out!
