Tom Porter retired from Lucent Technologies in Dec. 1999 after 33 years, most recently as v.p. and GM for southern California. He is living in Oahu, Hawaii, with his wife, Linda, who also retired from Lucent last year. He is the proud grandparent of seven grandchildren. Tom and Linda travel extensively and enjoy golf, surfing, and sailing. They extend a warm aloha to classmates and invite all to contact them when in the islands.
John Funk writes that he got married last year to Deborah Chase, a longtime friend, and they live on a farm in Gilmanton, N.H., and love it. John is still enjoying the practice of law and is actively involved in town politics. His last child graduates from college this year and, John happily notes, financial freedom is around the corner!
William Stanard is back to building boats and living in Newport, R.I.
George Hayum is living in Santa Barbara with a work base as an entertainment attorney in LA. George recently attended the Princeton reception at the Getty Center, where he saw Bryant Crouse.
Larry Warter writes that his oldest son, Michael, an associate partner at Anderson Consulting, last May became the proud father of Emily Warter (22?). Larry continues as marketing v.p. with Fuji USA graphic systems division and was just awarded the Visionary Leadership Award by the major industry association.
