Other Years

The photo was sent in by Bucky Clarkson from a dinner in Ponte Vedra, Fla., last March. From l-r are Bucky’s wife, Pat; Bucky; Bucky’s mother, Jean; and Sarah and Sam Isaly. Bucky’s son, Tom ’95, is a Marine F-18 pilot, and his daughter, Claire ’96, is a writer/journalist in California. Bucky’s brother is John ’64.

John Fisher writes that on July 14, he married Sue Peters (Goucher ’69), a science teacher at Horace Greeley H.S. in Chappaqua, N.Y. John has known Sue for 41 years, first as a childhood sweetheart and then as a longstanding friend. Attending the wedding were George Bassett, Jay Bramhall, Roger Liddell, and Jim Slocum. The happy couple then went off for their honeymoon to the Galapagos and Machu Picchu.

Ted Feinstat is practicing gastroenterology in the Sacramento area and going to high school events with son Max (small forward) and junior high school events with son Daniel (jazz band, trombone). Ted writes, “Chris and I would love to hear from classmates in the area.”

35 Years Ago: The first Star Trek episode was aired; In Cold Blood was on the NY Times bestseller list; the FDA declares “the Pill” safe for human use.
