Reminder: Class of 67 Cocktail Party immediately following the Nov. 10 Yale-Princeton game at the home of Frank Strasburger, 79 Lafayette Rd., Princeton.
Dave Blair reports that daughter Kate graduated in the Class of 00, and he decided to replace her by joining the Bendheim Center for Finance (in old Dial Lodge!) in Sept. 2000. Dave is director of corporate relations and advises corporate partners on recruiting, and advising undergraduates and masters students on how to get jobs in the post exuberance era. Dave will be teaching a freshman seminar on Modern Financial Markets in spring 2002. Dave has reached out to classmates Pepper Pettit and Russ Swanson for architectural help on a new house hes building on Lake Carnegie, giving a true ring to the old joke, We live by the lake, drop in.
Cliff Ransom is still living on a boat in Boston Harbor and maintaining a house in Baltimore. Cliff says Hey, other Bay State denizens have places on the Cape or Marthas Vineyard; mines in the Inner Harbor.
In August, Geoff Lipsey rode bicycles with three friends from Vancouver, B.C., to San Francisco. It was a special trip reminded me of how beautiful this country is, and how diverse.
Richard Davidson reports that he and his wife, Judy, continue to reside outside of Orlando, Fla., and have taken up sailboat racing in Florida waters. His law practice with the Orlando firm of Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor & Reed is going well and Richard has headed the securitization and securities law group. Their eldest son, Chris 94, is a marketing manager at Harrahs in Las Vegas, and son Scot (Harvard 95) is an investment banker in St. Petersburg, while daughter Julie (SUNY Genesee99) is teaching in Virginia.
Nelson G. Gary Conover writes that his daughter, Bry (03), at U. of Mississippi is spending her junior year in Spain at the U. of Valencia.
