Robert Humber sighs that finally he got both boys through school. His oldest Christopher Harvard Law. His youngest David Georgetown Medical. Now my wife is going for her masters at Fuller Seminary! When will tuition ever end? No one can claim that I am not committed to continued education.
Jim Avery writes that he doesnt expect to return for the 35th unless he has a recovery from an ongoing back disability and an election night 2000 stroke. On a happier note, Jim writes that he is still married to his first wife, daughter Carolyn is a junior at Yale, son James is at the U. of Massachusetts, and son John is headed to Baja, Calif., for a semester program at NOLS. Jim concludes, I have a lot to be thankful for.
John Funk and his wife, Debbie, visited Dick Sutton in Hawaii this spring. Dick says it was Johns first visit to Hawaii, and he loved it.
Richard Hutchin is CEO at Optical Physics Co. in Calabasas, Calif.
Dave Paul retired from Lockheed in April and is continuing to consult with a few of the still surviving startups in Silicon Valley. Dave is teaching in the Cal State U. system in strategic business management.
Jay Berman writes that son Ben is married and living in Arlington, Va., and working for a think tank. Youngest son Mark is a high school senior, and daughter Beth is a sophomore at the U. of Florida. Son Alex works for a dot.com as long as it exists. Jay reports his cardiology practice continues to flourish.
Robert Deaks wife, Amy, was safely evacuated from Lehman Brothers offices at the American Express Building on Sept. 11. Robert says, We are OK and busy regrouping and preparing for the future.
