Reunions 2003 were a bit soggy on the outside but great on the inside. Our first photo shows the usual suspects actually receiving the 1945 prize for the best P-rade entry for our 35th.
Sam Isaly and Bucky Clarkson met on a friends ranch near Mexico City for the wedding of Sams daughter, Christina, to Don Ulises Liceaga. The owner of the ranch, Don Francisco Barona, delegated Bucky to start a ceremonial bullfight in honor of the newlyweds. Also at the wedding was Jennifer Abbondanza 97, a soccer teammate of the bride, who both now play for the New York Athletic Club. The second photo shows the three in front of Don Franciscos trophies. Sam notes that Bucky has been starting fights since he was a child.
Steve Kerr has been to Moscow twice this year in connection with a World Bank project on education. He can confirm that the desire for education with economic development via technologies universal and that the paths to accomplish this goal are equally fraught with difficulty everywhere.
On behalf of WOWS, thanks for all the cards, letters and emails this year, and keep em coming. See you in the fall.
