Dr. Doug Kelbaugh (photo), dean of the U. of Michigans Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, writes that Ol Nassaus gravitational pull only seems to strengthen with the years as he came back for a funeral in the University chapel for former father-in-law Chiz Anderson 40, a total Tiger, and then was invited to a symposium honoring Prof. Emeritus Robert Gutman. Only leading a UM alumni trip through Italy saved me from this completely intimidating role I was to be on a final panel with the architecture and WWS deans but, alas, it also kept me from Nick Adamsons wedding, a gathering of old roommates like Chris Cooke and other rabble. A second symposium in honor of Prof. Emeritus Robert Geddes was canceled due to the big snowstorm, but the best ol place of all sure looked heavenly under a foot of snow. With March Madness having just ended, Doug fondly remembers Bill Bradley 65 laying UMs Cazzie Russell low at the Garden in the 1964 Holiday Festival final.
