Tollie Bessons son, Brent, was the 67 Scholarship honoree this past year. Brent wrote to thank all 67ers for his opportunity: As a native Californian fresh off the beach at Santa Monica, I am enjoying Princetons winter, particularly the snow.(!) He added that his exposure to Princetons faculty and curriculum has been challenging and rewarding so far. He is among 30 students fortunate enough to have been chosen for the intensive, double-credit Humanities Studies program, yet he leans toward majoring in physics. A member of the junior varsity tennis team, he also competes on Princetons College Bowl team. Brent believes Princeton is a great fit for his interests.
Chuck Braxton is hedging global warming by living on Lake Winnepesaukee, N.H., enjoying the nearby hiking, skiing, and canoeing. He is with Roche Realty Group in Meredith, N.H. (cbraxton@metrocast.net.)
Gary Anderson is editor of Classic Motorsports magazine. Ric Simonson writes that Pat and I now call Lake Forest, Ill., home as I am now the chief investment officer for Allstate. Our youngest daughter, Caroline is at Washington and Lee U. Her older brothers are teaching, one in Zermatt, Switzerland, and the other all over the world as a tutor for three children in a globe-traveling family.
Bill Stanard is teaching programming and technology integration at Palmer Trinity School in Miami, living and sailing in Key Biscayne. Dave Foster wrote: What a pleasure last spring to have Nancy and Jack Hayes join their older son, Ben, in my senior English class at Milton. Always terrific to have a familiar face in the crowd. (Editors note: Jack tells me Ben is doing well as a frosh at Georgetown and will try out as a walk-on for the Hoya basketball team.) Jan Bucks son, Ian 99, wed his classmate Katie Tillman.
Check out the good work Galen Aoki has done posting all our pix (and notes) from past PAWs to our Web site.
