Tom Thomas supplied the story accompanying this neat picture of (l-r): Tom, Beth Lichty, Kallie Lichty, Tom’s wife Judy, and Bill King. “It was taken at the Bal de Ballet in Denver in June. The Lichtys are the two oldest daughters of Bill’s and my deceased roommate, Roger Lichty,” explained Tom. “Due to Roger’s untimely death, I escorted Beth at her debut in 2002, and Bill escorted Kallie in June. I am on tap for 2005 for the next daughter, LaLa. Roger had four daughters, so I guess Bill is in line for the last, VeeVee.”

Tom’s in charge of national acquisitions and new development for the Patrinely Group, whose most recent groundbreaking was on the second phase of the million-square-foot Princeton Corporate Campus at Forrestal Center. The building “is the first significant spec office building to be started in the Northeast in more than four years,” Tom notes with some pride.

Forty years ago this week Shirley Ellis peaked here at WOWS with “The Name Game” – “Shirley, Shirley, Bo Birley, Banana-fanna Fo Firley, Fe Fi Fo Mirley (bomp bomp) … Shirley.”

(Hint: we are now closer to our 40th than to our 35th. Ah, the march of time …)
