The photo is from the Alumni Day class dinner taken in the Laporte Squash Lounge: standing are: Jim ’08 and Ted Weiss; Nick ’05 and Gary Walters; Rebecca ’08, Laura, and David Perlman; Stirling ’06 and Dick Fiss; seated: Tim ’05 and Jack Laporte. Other classmates in attendance were Ritchie Geisel and John Armstrong. Spouses and other family members attending included Dawn Fiss, Pam Geisel, Andie Laporte, Jackie Perlman, Sue Walters, and Ann Weiss and daughter Elizabeth Weiss.
Ted Weiss mentioned that, because of the untimely death of roommate Terry Slocum in 2004, the remaining six of eight roommates had a reunion in early November. Ted was joined by Steve Brown, Todd Evans, Jack Morin, Sam Magruder, and Fred Hickok for a wonderful time that included an arch sing in honor of Terry.
Peter Turchi is still commuting to Albuquerque from Santa Fe to help the Air Force win the next war. Wife Judy is teaching a 5/6 combo class in Santa Fe – very, very important but hard work without books or desks. They adopted another shelter dog and have learned more than they want about how dogs interact.
