John Armstrong writes: Heres a picture taken in March in San Rafael, Calif. (at my father-in-laws). The players are myself, John Treat, Marty Krasney, and John McWilliams, plus my wife Rebecca 74. John McWilliams is coming out of a 15-year retirement to coach lacrosse and launch a photography business (sports and landscapes).
Marty, while staying active in consulting, board service and progressive politics, has been happily married for 20 years and is the father of a (male) Vassar junior. He has returned to literary pursuits, having had a half-dozen stories published in small journals (hoping to get one into a magazine with more subscribers than contributors), and finished a novel a metaphysical social comedy now seeking agent representation in NYC.
John Treat, now fully recovered from a major automobile accident, has resumed his challenging mixture of for-profit and non-profit activities. He and his wife, Barbara, have a personal venture capital company which has invested in a variety of real estate, software, and consulting companies and he is on the boards of American U. in Cairo, the Yosemite National Institutes, and two other organizations. Their twins are now 7 years old and they all live on a hilltop in San Rafael, Calif.
For my part, I manage a small IT consulting firm providing services to hedge funds in Fairfield County, Conn. My daughter, Anne, is Princeton 08.
