Congratulations to John Kerr, who in March was selected for promotion to rear admiral in the navy reserve. According to John, this gives Princeton four flag rank officers from the sea service one marine general and three admirals. His awards include 23 strike/flight and individual air medals, three navy commendation medals, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with gold star, and various unit and service awards. John is now flying the MD-11 on international routes for Delta Airlines. John and his wife Carole live in La Jolla with their daughter, Hillary.
John Pitts writes from Mexico City that he had recently had separate visits from Jeff Schafer, Dag Ryen, and John Klein, together with his family. With Gardiner Pearson (also working at the U.S. embassy), we had enough to form a P.U. club. John has now moved to Bogota, as economic counselor at the U.S. embassy, and welcomes visitors.
A. Terry Slocum was recently made pres. of the franchise division of Western Temporary Services, Inc. in Walnut Creek, Calif. Western is a leader and pioneer in the temporary help industry and there are more than 350 Western offices in the U.S. and in seven other countries.
