Moving up the alphabet in D.C., Greg McBride reports that last November, after more than 14 years at the Federal Railroad Administration, he moved to the Federal Transit Administration to become deputy chief counsel, and now serves as acting counsel. Greg and wife Lois, who continues to consult on health care, have three children: Danny (14), Becky (22), and Jeremy (25). John Johnson writes that hes living in Lafayette, Calif., married for 15 years to Laurie, with two kids, Coop (8) and Hilary (4). John is working in the West for Spears, Benzak, Solomon and Farrell (Bill Spears 60 and Vince Farrell 69), money managers in NYC.
After nine years as senior anchor at WGN T.V. and for the first time in almost 30 years in broadcasting, Rick Rosenthal is available for a new assignment. Anybody need a good T.V. news guy, Im available call!
Ted Gallagher writes I have had the pleasure of representing Princeton at the Sesquicentennial for Holy Cross. Got to wear my cap and gown again and presented Pres. Shapiros greetings.
Grant Thomas, unable to find honest work, is still involved with peer assistance programs in Texas school districts. His older daughter, Eliza, is a sophomore at Barnard, having transferred from Connecticut College. Grant says, If it gets too weird, maybe shell transfer to PU. Meanwhile, Sarah 94 and Leslie 97 are already there.
James Jim F Evans was recently appointed chief of surgical oncology at the Geisinger Clinic.
I am saddened to report the deaths of Willard F Schmidt on Aug. 19 and Malcolm M. Simmons on Sept. 1, 1993.
