Tis the season for a bit of religious news:
Sept. 16, 1993, Ray Webster was installed as rector of St. Chrysostoms Episcopal Church in Chicago. According to Mike Gehret 69, it was a moving and wonderfully colorful celebration.
The Rev. Philip W Stowell is in his third year as rector of St. Bartholomews Episcopal Church in White Plains, N.Y., along with his wife, Susan, and son Andrew (5). Another son, Charles, is in the Class of 1996.
Phil tells me that John Fisher, a pastoral counselor and psychotherapist in NYC and an ordained Episcopal clergyman, comes to St. Bartholomews one day a week and does pastoral counseling.
Frank Moss recently moved from Meriden, Conn., to become the rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Fort Wayne, MD.
Des T Barry Jr., recently served as a member of the 15-person faculty for the 1993 Defense Counsel Trial Academy in Boulder, Cob. The Trial Academy is an annual eight-day program of intensive instruction in trial advocacy for defense attorneys. The faculty is selected from among the nations top trial lawyers. Des is with the NYC firm of Condon & Forsyth and is an expert in the defense of airlines in litigation arising from air crash disasters.
Cardiologist Jay Berman reports that son Ron is in his second year at Emory; Alex his last in high school; and Sara and Mark in sixth and fourth grades, respectively. Jay writes, Remain busy as the proverbial one armed paperhanger, getting to the heart of countless matters.
