Following the Yale Game, our class had a warm and friendly gathering at the Strasburgers, including Nick Adamson, Allen Adler, John Bitner, (Will Black 96), Madeline Blinder (representing Alan), Art Bowen, Wayne Bowman, Steve Brown (Carrie 96), Len Bruno, Jan Buck, John Delaney (Beth 94), Jim Edmondson, Gus Escher, John Fisher, Ritchie Geisel, Peter Holzer (Jessica 97), Kent Hughes, Jack LaPorte, Russ Miller, Bill Paternotte, Dean Pope (Justin 97), Stoney Simons (Torey 96), Rich Sorota, Phil Stowell, Frank Strasburger, Ted Todd, Jan Twardowski (Paul 95), Collin Weber (Nick 94), and Bill Woodward. Our next event is the class dinner in N.Y.C. on Thurs., Mar. 10.
Bruce Speidel reports that in October, his Princeton roommate Jim Avery and he met in Utah to attend Vic Bradens tennis school and also do some hiking in Zion and Bryce Natl. Parks. Bruce said it was a great time to catch up, as their obliging families stayed home and left our two classmates to play on their own.
Some of us are more stable than others. John Davis writes that 26½ years out of PU., hes still working for I.B.M. (Buy lots of PC.s!) John has sons at Cornell and Lehigh, and one left in high school, so he still has to keep working.
After completing an assignment with his law firm in Orlando for nine years, Richard D. Davidson and his family returned to upstate New York in the Albany area. Richard is now a partner with Hiscock & Barclay in commercial banking and corporate law. His oldest son, Christopher, is a senior at Princeton and his other son is Harvard 95. Daughter Julie is a junior in high school and is starting to look at the college scene.
