Congratulations to 67s own SPORTS ILLUSTRATED cover boy, Gary Walters, who was selected as Princetons new athletic director. After an outstanding career as a college basketball coach and in finance, Gary will now get to combine all his talents in a most challenging position.
Mark your calendars early: our class cocktail party will be held on Oct. 22, immediately after the Harvard game, at Carrie and Frank Strasburgers home. This will be a great chance to see Garys Tigers in action, as well as renew old acquaintances.
Bill Dakin continues to practice law in Chester, Vt., with the firm of Dakin & Benelli, P.C. Bill was recently reelected to the board of directors of the Vermont Attorneys Title Corp., headquartered in Burlington, Vt., and is also the chairman of the titles standards subcommittee of the Vermont Bar Assn.
John Dunning writes that he moved from Massachusetts to Baltimore just over a year ago to care for an elderly patient. I came out of retirement in New England and am now working full time as a computer network consultant in Maryland.
Frederic Todd reports that he is enjoying having a foreign-exchange student from Madrid. Next year, he may have one from Budapest.
On a sad note, John Brinkerhoff passed away July 16, 1994. Nick Adamson, Allen Adler, Bloxie Baker, John Bitner, Pepper Pettit, and I attended a beautiful memorial service and reception for John in Quogue, L.I., in early August.
