Whos that with the Very Reverend Arthur Liolin? Arthur writes, As Chancellor of the Albanian Orthodox Archdiocese, I recently had an audience with Pope John Paul II in Rome, was a guest of President Sali Berisha of Albania to mark the anniversary of democratic reforms in that Balkan country and attended a Jewish/Christian Symposium in Jerusalem on Social and Scientific Challenges, including conflict resolution in multi-ethnic societies and the moral implication of genetic engineering. Arthurs son, Evans, is a senior at the Univ. of Chicago and coaches its mens crew club. Daughter Emily is a high-school senior and is captain of womens crew her boat is undefeated in three years.
Cliff Ransom is sr. v.p. and director of special situations research at Raymond James & Associates and was recently the subject of a lengthy interview in MONEY MANAGER INTERVIEWS, in which he discussed his stock market philosophy and recommendations. Checking todays stock prices against Cliffs May recommendations shows hes doing pretty well.
John Fisher writes, My psychotherapy practice has been growing, Im happy to report, despite the economic hard times. I maintain it in N.Y.C., Montclair, N.J., and White Plains, where I practice a day a week in Phil Stowells church.
Reminder: class cocktail party at the Strasburgers Oct. 22 after the game.
