I am pleased to announce that the recipient of our Class of 67 Scholarship for this year is Julie Polhemus 95, daughter of classmate Richard. In her letter thanking us for the scholarship, Julie writes My dad is a member of the Class of 67. He was a history major with an interest in literature. I am a 4th-year geology major with certificates in environmental studies and teacher preparation. More than anything else at Princeton, I am thankful for the numerous opportunities that have come my way.
Charley Friedman writes that the Mississippi Princeton Alumni Assn. recently gathered for its annual dinner to hear all about the upcoming 250th celebration plans. Alumni, parents & current Mississippi undergraduates were in attendance. Kendall Blake led us in singing Old Nassau.
Joseph Padula solemnly writes Another Rug Rat due in May. Congratulations.
Terry Slocum visited former roommate Ted Weiss last summer at the end of his familys vacation to California. Terrys son Scott is thriving in his first year at the Univ. of Washington in Seattle.
Phil Reitz reports that what started out a few years ago as a whim has now taken him up to 26 llamas (BonneVenture West Llamas). Look, Ma, Im a rancher!
Collin Weber moved to Atlanta in 1992 and is the William C. McGarity Distinguished Professor of Surgery at the Emory School of Medicine. Collins work focused in the field of endocrine surgery. Son Scott is a sophomore at Georgetown.
