With the serious business aside, I would like to report on some recent business notices:
Stephen Wright has recently been named president and CEO of CODA, Inc., with responsibility for directing CODAs business in the Americas. CODA is one of the worlds leading providers of financial accounting software and associated professional services.
John Alexander has recently been named v.p. of communications for the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C. In his new role, John will oversee all of the centers internal and external communications.
Douglas R. Young has been promoted to v.p. of marketing for Hitachi Data Systems Intl. in Santa Clara, Calif. Doug will direct the integration of customer-focused business strategies spanning mainframe products, professional services, and new business offerings. He leads a staff of product marketing and customer support personnel.
Royal Masset is working as political director of the Republican Party of Texas. He expects to preside over the Republican Party control of the Texas legislature after the 1996 elections, for the first time since Reconstruction.
John Funk is still living in Concord, N.H., and practicing in law, specializing in banking. He also serves on the board of the New Hampshire Legal Assistance Corp. and is presently dealing with the effects of the GOP funding cutbacks. Daughter Lisa graduated from St. Pauls School and is attending Connecticut College, and son Jamie is a junior at St. Pauls.
