On Apr. 25, thanks to the efforts of Roger Liddell, a hugely successful class dinner was held at the Princeton Club, featuring Athletic Director Gary Walters and retiring Basketball Coach Pete Carril. Among those attending the dinner were: Nick Adamson, Allen Adler, Tom Amato, Ken Ash, Des Barry, Mark Biderman, David Blair, Robinson Brown, William Chambers, Robert Chilstrom, Robert Deak, Don Eggleton, Searle Field, Ritchie Geisel, Ted Gutelius, Greg Hickok, Jay Higgins, Pete Holzer, Sam Isaly, Nick Kourides, Jack LaPorte, Bob Lem, Roger Liddell, Ken Logan, Bob Losey, Bob Mayer, Charlie Parl, Peter Safir, Will Sherk, Reed Simmons, Rich Sorota, Michael Stieber, Frank Strasburger, Gary Walters, and Bill Woodward.
Dag Ryen will be in Almaty, Kazakstan, this May, conducting a USI-funded seminar on government-media relations. This is the third year hes arranged this program on public administration issues for senior level Katak officials. The minister of economics and deputy minister of foreign affairs are among Dags graduates.
Frank Upham writes that he is now teaching at the NYU School of Law and that one of the pleasures of being in NYC is the opportunity to coteach with former roommate Bob Rosenbloom and offer a course on land-use and community development in NYC. Joshua Babad MD writes that son Jonathan is attending UC-San Diego studying computer engineering.
REUNION NOTE: Activities for the 29th will be coordinated with the Class of 66s 30th. Meet for lunch at the 30th tent prior to the P-rade on Sat., June 1, and for cocktails and buffet dinner at Carrie and Frank Strasburgers.
Finally, I regret to report the death of Bill Thorne on Apr. 15.
