Mike Bewleys collection of contemporary art was recently profiled in a San Francisco Examiner article, which included extensive pictures of the collection. Mike is quoted as saying, I like art that stands out the kind that hits you on the head. Mike, who has a day job practicing law, is an avid collector and is well known in Bay Area art circles.
Time magazine recently listed Barbara and Steve Grossman as major Clinton/Democratic supporters who have had the opportunity to stay overnight in the White House in the Lincoln Bedroom. Steve, who is president of Massachusetts Envelope Co., is, according to Time, one of the top five Democratic contributors since 1992.
Ritchie Geisel and Pam Wilkison were married on May 22 of this year, and shortly thereafter moved into a new home in Princeton. Rich is president of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic, and Pam began a new job with the Eden Institute, which serves individuals with autism. Rich reports that another family milestone was the graduation of son Justin from the U. of Richmond, where he finally eclipsed the family mile record this past spring with a time of 4:09.
The recipient of the 1995-96 Class of 67 Scholarship, Charles Stowell, was the salutatorian for the Class of 96. Congratulations to Charles and father Phil Stowell.
Last year Kent Hughes joined the Firemark Group as senior v.p. Kent previously held positions at Shearson Lehman Bros., Chase Manhattan, and Legg Mason. The Firemark Group, a private merchant banking firm that makes institutional equity investments in the insurance industry, is based in Parsippany, N.J.
