Allen Adler received the Distinguished Service Award from the New School for Social Research in NYC; he was recognized for being a quintessential New Yorker: tireless, endlessly curious, cosmopolitan in his global interests.
Russell Swanson has been promoted to associate at the Hillier Group, an architecture firm in Princeton. Russell has worked on several of the firms corporate projects, including Hoechst Marion Roussels Marion Park campus in Kansas City, Mo., and the award-winning Hoffman LaRoche administrative building in Nutley, N.J.
Lew Kamman has changed jobs from v.p. in information technology at J. P. Morgan to Bell Atlantic network integration. Lew has recently added a fifth child to his brood, Yitzhok, Aron, Chaim, Deverah, and Yoset.
John Delaney writes that his daughter Beth 94 has finished her second year of medical school at the UT-San Antonio. Erin (UT 98) is captain of the UT equestrian team.
Fred Waite joined the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP and will continue his practice in international trade and customs law. Fred is the author of articles on international trade and investment and is a lecturer for the World Trade Institute on issues of customs law and international business.
One final word on our 30th: out of our active class membership of 782, 168 class members were in attendance, and, counting alumni wives, widows, guests, and children, we totaled 448 attendees. Once again, congratulations on a great job to our reunion organizers.
