ONE FINAL comment on our 30th reunion comes from Ted Todd, who was responsible for the wonderful meals, While you still remember the 30th, dear classmates, please let the class know any constructive improvements you have for food and drink at the 35th.
Robert Humber and wife Armene still live in Southern California. Their oldest son, a graduate of Harvard Law, practices law in Chicago, and their youngest just matriculated at Georgetown Medical School. Robert is working at U.S. Bancorp and my next career goal is retirement (maybe in 20 years!!).
Jim Kremer writes that he moved two years ago to Groton, Conn., to help create a new undergraduate major at UConn. Coastal studies is an interdisciplinary mix of natural and social sciences related to the nations coastal zone. Jim writes that this is an exciting challenge, but our first cohort is starting this year!
Jan Buck reports that as a result of some aggressive football and lacrosse recruiting, his younger son, Chuck (6'4", 210 lbs., 4.4 in the 40 yd. dash), has entered the Class of 01 at Yale, thereby becoming the black sheep of the family. Chucks older brother, Ian, who was always a more obedient child, is entering his junior year at Princeton, where he excels at his chosen sport computers.
Class treasurer Pete Holzer, who also established on an annual basis our class community service project of placing undergraduates as interns in nonprofit organizations over the summer, reports that he is getting renewed contributions to assist in this worthy effort. Additional contributions will be greatly appreciated.
