SHOWN AT the top of the next column are John Faggi, Bob Bedell 66 (always wanted to be in 67), John Claster, and Phil Handy. The occasion was Phils daughters wedding in August in Idaho. Also in attendance were Jack Laporte and Doug James. According to Phil, Faggi has reemerged and pledges to attend the next reunion.
Tom Amato has relocated to Mendham, N.J. He is looking forward to new opportunities as CFO of another high-tech company and working with classmates on upcoming reunions and other activities.
Joshua Babad MD writes that wife Marianne is working for the American Red Cross, son Jonathan is a junior at the U. of California at San Diego in computer sciences and engineering, and daughter Lauren is a freshman in high school. Joshua continues to practice ophthalmology in Santa Cruz, Calif.
John Boeys son Mark is a freshman in the Class of 01. John notes that helping his son move into a room that was identical to my own room over 30 years ago was a peculiar experience. We definitely traveled a great deal lighter then!
Len Brillson is just beginning his second year at Ohio State U., where he has a chair in electrical engineering and physics. He made the transition from managing a department of electrical engineers and physicists at Xerox Corp. to training them in the classroom. Of course, having a Rose Bowl team doesnt hurt either.
Dean Wanderer has retired from Navy JAGC and opened his own law practice in Virginia.
