Bob Gebhardt reports that he, wife Ornella, and daughter Becky flew to Argentina for Christmas, where they were met by son Robert, now a sophomore at American U. in Washington, D.C. They were joined just after Christmas by Gray Johnston, his wife, Karen, and their son Alex, now a junior at William and Mary. Grays daughter, Lisa, had just been married a couple of weeks earlier. Larry Stupski and wife Joyce were hoping to join the Gebharts, but were unable. Following a stay at an estancia in the pampas, the Gebharts and Johnstons went to Mendoza to check the wine, the river, and the lakes. The wine won. Bob still lives in Lugano, Switzerland, as COO of Pansoinco Intl., a metals processing and trading company. Gray is inducing stupor to the people of Warrenton, Va., during the day as an anesthesiologist. Bob is also in touch with John McCarthy, who remains a key mover and shaker of Republicans Abroad.
Ken Ash writes that wife Barbara and son Geoffrey (13) are great and that Ken runs a 30-person consulting group for FIND/SVP.
John Fisher notes that all is well, and he will be attending this years P-rade.
James Evans, who is director of the Breast Clinic Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa., was one of the key researchers in the recently reported Breast Cancer Prevention Trial, a six-year study on a total of 13,338 high-risk women with the drug Tamoxifen.
