OVER 40 67ERS celebrated our 31st reunion at a lovely backyard reception hosted by Laurie and Ted Todd. The Todds hospitality was so gracious and the reception so successful that they have agreed to host future class parties and receptions for many years to come. The next event at the Todds will be the fall cocktail party following the Harvard game. Our reunion efforts were magnificently arranged by reunion chairman Tom Amato, who has assumed the task from the capable hands of Bob Mayer.
At the Alumni Council meeting on May 29, our class received the Class of 45 award for the most enterprising P-rade entry. This is a great tribute to Tim and Tom Tulenko as well as to our present and past reunion chairmen. More good news is that class treasurer Pete Holzer reports that our finances are in good shape, and we can look forward to many other successful class events. Congratulations are also in order to Dubby Wynne, whose son John is a member of Princetons NCAA championship mens lacrosse team.
On Apr. 30, thanks to the efforts of Roger Liddell, a wonderful class dinner was held in NYC with approximately 20 classmates attending. The featured speaker was Prof. Arnold Levine, the former chairman of the Dept. of Molecular Biology and the future director of Princetons proposed cancer research center.
As a final note, my cosecretary Dick Prenke will be handling the class notes for at least the next year, and we will both continue on a rotating basis. So keep the cards and letters coming and have a wonderful summer.
