MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR THE CLASS DINNER ON APR. 21 IN NYC
OFFSPRING: Margi and Dave Fulton adopted Jamuna, a 19-month-old Nepali girl, last March. Since Nepali law prevents placement of twins with a single family, her twin sister was adopted by a family about an hour from Fultys home in Auburn, Calif. Bob Grants son Tyler is a member of the Class of 02. Jan Buck warns that the new Yale football program is sensational, according to his son, who has moved from running back to wide receiver to defensive end to inside linebacker, at which position he hopes to be able to perform at Princeton Stadium next year. Jim Bonner doesnt know what he did wrong. Maybe it was the monsoon at our 20th. His son Allen has slipped off to Browns Class of 02. Naturally, he has disinherited him in favor of daughter Shannon 95, whom he married off to a Brit last October, but, Jim reports, it still stings. He philosophically observes that, if the disinheritance were more substantial, he might feel better. Roger Philips reports that son Matt 98 is enjoying himself in project management for Double Click, an Internet advertising firm in Manhattan.
GRANDCHILDREN: In your secretarys view, members of this class are far too young for grandchildren, but Dave Paul has two to be exact, counting the recent addition of Cyrene Sinclair Nicholas, who joined her two-year-old sister, Cameron Kay Macgregor Nicolas, last June. He is not alone. Jim Sisserson reports that grandparenthood is wonderful. In August, his daughter Paige produced his second grandson, named Jason Taylor Leska. In the last weeks of 1998, John Dunning experienced four blessings: his 27th wedding anniversary, his 54th birthday, grandfatherhood, and retirement after 25 years as a microcomputer software entrepreneur. We are, of course, not too young for retirement.
Thirty-five years ago, we experienced for the first time the incredible beauty of Princeton in the spring.
