I INHERITED this photo of Mat Miyamoto and Bucky Clarkson, taken in San Tropez last year. Bucky is CEO of the Clarkson Co. in Jacksonville, Fla., and Mat is president of Miyamoto Kogyosho, Ltd. in Tokyo. Dont know why they were in France . . .
Ken Ash lives in Westport, Conn., with wife Barbara and son Geoff (13). He runs a 40-person consulting and research group for FIND/SUP in NYC and works for companies such as Coca Cola, Gillette, Hewlett Packard, Merrill Lynch, Bell South, and Andersen Consulting.
Bruce Speidel retired last summer from his corporate legal position in Portland, Oreg., to spend more time enjoying his son Colin (8) and do a little labor arbitration consulting balanced with skiing and hiking with the family.
Bob Hall has been with United Technologies researching environmental problems for more than 30 years. During the last two years, he has been a visiting staff member at Cranfield U. near London but doing a lot of travelling. On a recent trip to Costa Rica, he ran into a remarkably unchanged Brooke Pearson.
Jim Reinhardts wife of 22 years died in 1993 after a long battle with cancer. Jim reports, however, that he was fortunate to meet and, in March, marry Mary McCook. Jim has three daughters Elizabeth (26), Laura (23), and Katie (18) and became an instant step-grandfather with four grown stepchildren. Jim is working for C-Change as a change management and telecom consultant in Roswell, Ga.
We recently learned that our friend and loyal classmate Bob Rabalais succumbed last fall to a brain tumor.
Thirty-five years ago, no longer freshmen, we were off for the summer to impress those in our hometowns or other fortunate locales with our metamorphoses into suaveness.
