Rich Clark died on Dec. 28, 1980, in Hot Springs, AR, while visiting with his mother during the Christmas holidays.
Rich grew up in St. Louis and prepared at the John Burroughs School in St. Louis and the Darlington School in Rome, GA, where he was active in football, soccer, and track and received the Athletic Scholastic Award for excellence in scholarship and athletics.
When he came to Princeton, Rich followed in the footsteps of his father, Richard Vernon Clark Jr. 32. Rich majored in economics and was a member of the Charter Club. After graduation, he pursued his lifelong interest in finance, receiving in 1969 an M.A. in economics from NYU before beginning his financial career as a stockbroker. Most recently, Rich was associated with White, Weld & Co. in Wilmington, DE.
Rich was an avid sports enthusiast and had a special interest in squash, tennis, golf, and polo.
Rich is survived by his wife, Nedinia Treadway Schutt Clark of Wilmington, his mother, Florence Clark Bell of Hot Springs, and two sisters. To Richs family and friends, we send our sympathy at the loss of a friend and classmate.
